The CV is the first impression every company gets of a person, that is why it has to be catchy and highlight the reason why you are a good fit for the position. Therefore we recommend to adjust your CV for every position you apply for to show the relevant competences you can offer for the specific position.

Do’s:  Address and photo, reverse chronological order, clarify knowledge with numbers e.g. numerical or visual rating scale, clear time delineation, important processes and activities, interesting projects in an external project list, additional qualifications, advanced training, references and links to social networks (Linkedin, Xing), not too creative

Dont’s: Lack of personal details, boring repetitions, too little text and tasks, too many publications and advanced trainings,

Tipps: Be present on professional networks, e.g. Xing, Linkedin
